This study aims to develop digital media for traditional sports as a strategy for innovation in recreational education and local cultural preservation in the Society 5.0 era. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with a mixed methods approach and the ADDIE development model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product developed is an interactive digital media containing information on history, game rules, techniques, cultural values, facilities and infrastructure, demonstration videos, the benefits of physical activity, and evaluation materials for traditional sports. The research subjects included traditional sports practitioners, cultural figures, physical education or recreation lecturers, and students. Product validation involved three experts: a material expert, a media expert, and a cultural or recreation education expert. The trial was conducted through a limited trial with 30 participants and a field trial with 100 participants. Data were collected using observation, interviews, documentation, validation sheets, and a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, percentage of feasibility, N-Gain, and paired-samples t-test. The results showed that the validation of material experts obtained 95.00%, media experts 90.00%, and cultural or recreational education experts 97.00%, with an average of 94.00% in the very feasible category. User response reached 86.27% in the limited trial and 87.81% in the field trial. The average pretest score increased from 61.52 to 80.84 in the posttest, with an N-Gain of 0.519 in the moderate category. The paired-samples t-test produced t = 53.12 and p < 0.001, indicating a significant difference between the scores before and after media use. This study shows that traditional sports digital media has high feasibility and user acceptance and has the potential to support recreational education learning and local cultural
