Abstract

Guru dapat membantu perkembangan keterampilan motorik kasar anak dengan melibatkan murid dalam beragam aktivitas yang merangsang dan meningkatkan kemampuan ini. Pendidik dapat membantu anak-anak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar mereka, karena perkembangan motorik kasar merupakan aspek penting dari pertumbuhan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran permainan tradisional dalam pengembangan keterampilan motorik kasar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kasus kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan empat teknik: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data meliputi berbagai tahap, termasuk reduksi data, visualisasi, dan perumusan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, dalam kondisi tertentu, permainan tradisional Engklek dapat memfasilitasi perkembangan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak usia dini. Kondisi tersebut meliputi kemampuan anak untuk bermain aktif, keseimbangan, dan pemeliharaan kekuatan fisik selama bermain.
