Students' Interest In Learning Kasti Ball: A Study Of Junior High School And Mts Students In Pabedilan District

Abstract

Based on the fact that there are still some who are less interested in playing rounders and also the lack of courage of students at the junior high school level, the researcher conducted a study with the aim of seeing students' interest in learning rounders in junior high school/Islamic junior high school students in Pabedilan District. Then the method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire as its instrument. The population used was junior high school and Islamic junior high school students in Pabedilan District totaling 204 students. Then for the sample using random sampling technique, the number of samples was 102 students. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed to students and previously conducted validity and reliability tests. While for the data analysis technique using descriptive statistics. Based on the calculation of the research data, it shows that overall, Student Interest in Learning the Game of Kasti in Junior High Schools and MTs throughout Pabedilan District from 24 statement items obtained results in the very high category of 71 students (69.6%), in the high category of 29 students (28.4%), in the low category of 2 students (2.0%), in the low category of 0 students (0%) and in the very low category of 0 students (0%). So it can be concluded that student interest in the game of Kasti is in the very high category.
