Kesesuaian Model Pembelajaran PJOK sebagai Kunci Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa

Abstract

Rendahnya minat siswa terhadap PJOK sering disebabkan oleh metode pengajaran konvensional yang monoton dan didominasi guru. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, sebuah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental dilakukan pada 54 siswa kelas delapan untuk menguji efektivitas kombinasi model pendidikan luar ruang (outdoor education) dan pengajaran berbasis gerakan. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibanding kelompok kontrol (p = 0,004; t (52) = -3,046) dengan ukuran efek yang besar (Cohen's d = 0,83). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi aktivitas fisik luar ruang dan instruksi berbasis gerakan mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bervariasi dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas dan kontekstual ini sangat penting untuk meningkatkan minat, motivasi, perkembangan motorik, serta keterlibatan berkelanjutan siswa dalam pendidikan jasmani.
