To analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of various training methods in improving smash accuracy among badminton athletes. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PICO framework and PRISMA guidelines with predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Article searches were performed on Google Scholar using keywords related to training methods and badminton smash accuracy. After the screening process, 11 articles met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Among the 11 reviewed articles, drill training methods demonstrated the highest consistency in improving smash accuracy in badminton athletes. Eight articles explicitly showed that drill methods had positive and significant effects on smash accuracy. Variations of drill methods such as V-Drill technique, drills with specific targets, and integrated training models also proved effective. Comparative analysis between methods revealed that more focused and targeted approaches (such as directional smash training and drilling methods compared to target games) tended to be more effective than complex methods. Drill training methods represent the gold standard for improving smash accuracy in badminton athletes, with consistent effectiveness across various age groups and skill levels. Future research should investigate the effectiveness of these methods on elite athletes and conduct longitudinal studies to understand long-term skill retention.
2025-10-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Rizky Putra Hadi, Mashudhttps://jurnal.stokbinaguna.ac.id/index.php/JPJ/article/view/4348The Development Of Mobile Learning Media In Physical Education, Sports, And Health (PJOK) Learning For The Second Semester Of Seventh Grade In Junior High School2025-10-07T04:26:02+00:00Tasya Dwi Shinta[email protected]Candra Kurniawan[email protected]Lungit Wicaksono[email protected]Joan Siswoyo[email protected]
This study aims to develop mobile learning media for the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) subject in the second semester, consisting of five learning topics for seventh-grade junior high school students. The method used is the ADDIE development research method, which consists of five steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Some of them are low student participation, the use of a dominant conventional approach, and the lack of contextual and fun method choices. This causes students to master the basic techniques of the game less effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of Small Sided Games (SSG) is as a creative approach to teaching early age soccer in junior high schools. Quantitative methods were used, with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. 40 students of grade VIII were the subjects. They were divided into two groups: one that conducted an experiment with SSG, and the other that conducted a control with a conventional method. A validated and reliable basic soccer technique skill observation sheet was the research instrument. The results showed that the experimental group obtained an average increase in score from 60.0 to 64.8, while the control group only obtained an increase in score from 59.3 to 59.6. Both experimental groups showed significant improvements, each with p < 0.001 and Cohen's d = 0.876, according to the t-test. The result is that SSG-based learning improves students' basic soccer skills better than conventional methods. In addition, SSG-based learning can serve as a strategic alternative for physical education in junior high schools.
2025-10-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Richi Awa Kholiqulhuda, Mochamad Ridwan, Sapto Wibowohttps://jurnal.stokbinaguna.ac.id/index.php/JPJ/article/view/4713The Effect of Back Exercise on the Prevention of Low Back Pain Among Office Employees of Red Justice Law Institute, Bogor Regency2025-10-27T22:43:04+00:00Syfah Nur Kaffah[email protected]Qorry Armen Gamael[email protected]R. However, the most popular training methods are still technical-mechanical and do not consider real game situations. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the small toy training (SSG) model is in improving the tactical skills of adolescent beach volleyball athletes. A quasi-experimental with a non-comparable control group design was used. 24 athletes were divided into two groups: one for experimental training (SSG) and one for conventional training. The intervention lasted for three weeks, and nine training sessions were conducted during the period. Three experts validated the tactical skills through an analytical observation rubric. Data analysis was performed using Jamovi for paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group with a large effect size (p < 0.001). The results indicate that SSG is effective in improving the tactical skills of young athletes. It also suggests that SSG can be used as an alternative to contextual training and in accordance with the needs of real games.
2025-10-27T22:51:47+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Bagus Hardiansyah, Dwi Cahyo Kartiko, Mochamad Ridwanhttps://jurnal.stokbinaguna.ac.id/index.php/JPJ/article/view/4374The Relationship Between Service Quality and Training Satisfaction at Swimming Clubs in Brebes, Indonesia2025-10-27T22:59:08+00:00Zakwan Yumna Dhuha Pahlavi[email protected]Trisnar Adi Prabowo[email protected]M. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive survey method. The sample was 63 archery athletes, who were divided into 21 athletes in the 40-meter, 50-meter, and 70-meter numbers. The Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 Revised (CSAI-2R) serves as the research instrument, and data collection occurs prior to athletes entering the competition area. The results of the One Way ANOVA showed a sig. 0.622 or p>0.05. So there was no difference in anxiety scores in archery athletes in the 40-meter, 50-meter, and 70-meter numbers. Although, the average anxiety score in athletes in the 70-meter number is slightly higher than that of athletes in the 40-meter and 50-meter numbers. The conclusion is that while there is no significant difference between the numbers, these findings underscore that anxiety remains an important aspect of archery performance that needs to be managed. Therefore, anxiety management strategies, such as a combination of psychological skills training, are needed. Future research may consider longitudinal designs to track changes in anxiety over time or incorporate qualitative methods to gain a deeper understanding of athletes' perceptions of competitive pressures.
2025-10-27T23:09:09+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Febriansyah Dwi Cahyo, Trisnar Adi Prabowo, Khaerul Anwar, Zidan Ahda Putra, Anggi Eka Saputra, Khairul Ikhsan Sidiqhttps://jurnal.stokbinaguna.ac.id/index.php/JPJ/article/view/4397The Relationship between Leg Muscle Strength and Eye-Foot Coordination with Sepak Takraw Ability at the West Koya Sepak Takraw Club, Jayapura City in 20252025-10-27T23:25:28+00:00Yuli Kombong[email protected]Arie Favian Syahmar Marpaung[email protected]Muhamad Refki Yunus[email protected]
The Sepak Takraw West Koya Club's sepak sila ability is not yet optimal, this can be seen when playing on the field, they often fail to pass when the ball is played on the field, handling the ball with the inside of the foot is not right so that the ball played is not controlled and does not optimally channel the ball to the receiver and individual ball control or passing is still inconsistent. The objective is to determine the effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) using the Hold-Relax method on hamstring muscle flexibility in these athletes, as well as to measure the extent of improvement. This quantitative study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 12 Club Mansa athletes as both the population and sample. Data collection was conducted through the V-sit test administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the 7-day consecutive PNF Hold-Relax intervention. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk normality test (since the sample size was ≤ 50), and paired sample T-test hypothesis testing with a significance level of p<0.05. The results showed a significant increase in flexibility. The pretest average was 5,33, which increased to 11,75 in the posttest. The hypothesis test yielded one-sided and two-sided significance values <0.001, with a t-value of -6.124 and 11 degrees of freedom. This indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, confirming that PNF using the Hold-Relax method significantly improves hamstring muscle flexibility in Club Mansa basketball athletes. In conclusion, the PNF Hold-Relax intervention was proven effective in improving hamstring muscle flexibility in Club Mansa basketball athletes
2025-10-30T00:13:52+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mochammad Obbie Arga, Himawan Wismanadi, Dita Yuliastrid, Afif Rusdiawanhttps://jurnal.stokbinaguna.ac.id/index.php/JPJ/article/view/4454The Effect Of Plyometric Training On The Improvement Of Leg Muscle Power In The Futsal Extracurricular Program At Sman 5 Bandar Lampung2025-10-30T00:23:22+00:00Gilang Ramadan[email protected]Herman Tarigan[email protected]Suwarli[email protected]Dwi Priyono[email protected]
This study aims to determine the effect of plyometric training on increasing leg muscle power among futsal extracurricular students at SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung.
